Terms & Conditions

Schedule B – Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form part of the Service Agreement (“Agreement”) between Prairie Sips (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the undersigned client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By signing the Agreement, the Client acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms.

 

1. Services

 

1.1 Prairie Sips agrees to provide mobile bar and/or coffee services as outlined in the Service Agreement or invoice.
1.2 Any modifications to the agreed-upon services must be approved in writing by both parties.

 

2. Client Responsibilities

 

2.1 The Client is responsible for providing a safe, level, and accessible location for trailer setup and operation.
2.2 The Client must ensure all required permits, liquor licenses, and approvals (where applicable) are obtained before the event.
2.3 The Client is responsible for ensuring access to power and water sources if required for service.
2.4 The Client shall take all reasonable steps to prevent damage, theft, or loss to Company property and equipment while on site.

 

3. Alcohol Service Compliance


3.1 Prairie Sips operates under the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority (LGCA) of Manitoba, or applicable provincial regulatory bodies.
3.2 The Client acknowledges that all alcoholic beverages must be supplied and served in accordance with provincial liquor laws.
3.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any person who appears intoxicated, underage, or acts inappropriately.

 3.4 The Client agrees that Prairie Sips shall not be held liable for any incidents, injuries, or damages arising from alcohol consumption during or after the event.

 

4. Equipment and Property

 

4.1 All bar equipment, décor, and furnishings provided by Prairie Sips remain the property of the Company.
4.2 Any damage, loss, or theft caused by the Client, guests, or third parties engaged by the Client will be charged to the Client at replacement or repair cost.
4.3 A refundable damage and cleaning deposit may be required prior to the event. Refunds will be issued following inspection and confirmation that no damage or excessive cleaning is required.

 

5. Liability and Indemnification

 

5.1 The Client assumes full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss occurring at the event venue during the contracted period, except where directly caused by the negligence or willful misconduct of the Company.
5.2 The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Prairie Sips, its owners, employees, and subcontractors from any claims, actions, or liabilities arising out of or related to the event, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or alcohol-related incidents.

 

6. Force Majeure

 

The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, fire, flood, extreme weather, power outages, or government restrictions. In such cases, the Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer an alternative arrangement.

7. Photography and Marketing

 

7.1 The Client grants Prairie Sips permission to photograph or record the event for marketing and promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing. (We will remain out of the way during all wedding photos with a designated photographer).
7.2 Any media featuring identifiable guests will be handled in accordance with privacy laws and will not be used in a defamatory or misleading manner.

 

8. Payment Terms

 

8.1 Payment schedules and refund eligibility are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy (Schedule A).
8.2 Late payments may be subject to administrative fees or cancellation of service.

 

9. Governing Law

 

These Terms and the Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

 

10. Entire Agreement

 

These Terms, together with the Service Agreement and attached schedules, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior communications or representations, whether written or oral.
